Several things in this photograph work great together. Although there is a lot of texture and it would be easy to get overwhelmed with the plants, the light, and of course the model, everything fits in perfectly. The ground has a lot going on, but it's not overt enough to draw too much attention to itself. Likewise, the model isn't overpowered by the light so much that we loose her in the glare. In fact, the glare itself is more dynamic than most photos I've seen. It was an actual shape, almost as though it's reaching out to the model.

The colors also blend wonderfully together, and that little spot of green from the bushes helps to fill in what might have been a blank spot in the image. Symbolically, I think of the model working towards the light while the plants on the opposite side likewise use the sun to grow and nourish themselves. The symmetry is really quite beautiful.

A lot of your photos center around the train tracks so I'm not entirely sure how original this really is. That one detail aside I find the photo to be moving and inspirational.

The meaning behind the title holds a lot of significance to me as it can mean learning to fly after a great fall. Moving on to something greater or better beyond the moment you are stuck in.

The light coming from in front of her is very powerful imagery, and the train tracks seem to pull the imagination towards the possibility that one can indeed move on, forward, past any unpleasantness and find a better, happier place to be. Into the light and love of a brighter, newer day and future.

Wonderfully done and the angle you chose to do it in was a wise choice indeed. It wouldn't hold nearly as much meaning any other way. Keep up the wonderful work and sharing it with us watchers.

I love that this still has a lot of darkness and contrast in it despite the sunlight. It's a beautiful picture and a beautiful title to boot. :)

Beautiful shot! I love shooting into the sun but it's so hard to get good ones, this one is wonderful.

Any chance you would share some tips for editing? Your photos are beautiful and I would totally love to know how you make your photo's pop!
