Has No One Told You She's Not Breathing?
:iconzimmrie-kanoah:
I actually like how well you captured the moment. It's as if you actually stopped time in this picture, or better yet you've taken a piece of time to keep for yourself.

The colors that are in the photo compliment each other as well. And I like the drop of water in the background and the ripples beginning to circle outward.

Lighting and shadow are well done the angle of the shot gives the viewer a new perspective all most solemn in its nature.

And even though the picture is still and I said above that's it's like you stopped time it also is as if the picture is still flowing moving and breathing.

I believe you did a fine job when you took this picture. Keep up the great work.

Death, is like a flower blooming in slow motion.

Autumn is my fav. season, so I can't do anything but agree with people speaking before me :). This one would serve very well as a wallpaper I think ( with a word "autumn" somewhere on the pic written with a nice font).

This is just fantastic, from the off colour to the depth.

Mmmm...Your color threatment is excellent, but there are most details gone missing because of the depth-of-field. At 75mm, F8 or F10 could be better the next time!
@ F10 you could set the shutter @ 1/125 which is almost good to stop the time(I know you are a time-stopper fanatic).
@ F8 would be 1/250 but I dunno how much DOF advantage you get @ F8.
And always remember: do not go after F16. Diffraction takes it's turn and the quality of the image deceades: so you must compose the image using a shorter focal, like 50mm or 35mm(which in APS-C cameras like yours, are already considered medium telephoto).

Why would I want to increase my F stop when I want a shallow depth of field?

I love the colors and the balance of this shot.

Too many details lost 'cause of the DOF. The leaf itself became too soft. But maybe that's just a matter of my taste :)
