I See Your Nightmares by ~BloodPromiser is a wonderful piece. The bloody gore stands out so perfectly against the porcelain skin. And the bandaids? Couldn't be more perfect.

An obvious response, but I need to say it, "Very Powerful."

For me, there are 2 points of brilliance here, each dependent on the other. There are the choice of colors and the positioning of the band aids.

The blood on the light skin "pops" at us immediately. The black hair frames the face, blending into the background as an almost non-element. The average first reaction to this is bound to be startling as we think "<expletive> this person is bleeding from their eyes and mouth. Then the viewer is hit with a bit of subtle suggestion. The blood on the band aids and mouth is bluer. the "warm blood" (color) on "warm skin" forms one layer while the "cooler" blood holds our attention. It is here that we begin to focus on the bandages--the second point.

The bandages have been positioned in such a way as to form a substitute for the eyes that are (?) were (?) beneath. At this point we almost ignore the trails of blood as part of the skin, the mouth and "eyes" transfixing us in their sad serenity.

Nice job
